Denna bok innehåller en sammanställning av drygt 11.800 st. referenser till bestämningsartiklar och fotografier av sällsyntare arter från 66 olika svenska och internationella ornitologiska tidskrifter. Den omfattar tidsperioden 1975-1994 och nästan 300.000 sidor har gåtts igenom. De arter som förekommer i Västpalearktis och Arabiska halvön har tagits med.

This book contains a compilation of more than 11,800 references to papers and notices dealing with identification of bird species that have occured in the Western Palearctic and Arabia. It includes references from 66 ornithological journals covering nearly 300,000 pages and the two decades 1975-1994. It also includes references to photos of rare species.
